Large-Scale & Oversized Abstract Paintings

Some walls need a whisper. Others need a work that can hold sixteen feet of room on its own. The large-scale paintings — 36″ × 48″, 48″ × 48″, and beyond — are built for the second kind: entry walls, double-height living rooms, the long wall behind a dining table that everything else in the room defers to.

Working large with hand-built drawing instruments changes the physics of the work. The passes get longer, the layering deeper; forms that read as delicate at arm's length become architectural at scale. It is the difference between a phrase and a full breath.

Statement sizes are where commissions matter most: an oversized work should fit its wall the way a window does. Custom dimensions — including works larger than anything currently in the catalog — are quoted individually, and multi-piece arrangements for adjoining walls are a studio speciality.
